News from Realise New Zealand Tour 2012 – Day 8

STORY 1: Leaving Auckland Ashram for Hamilton
We have been so comfortable in the heavenly ashram in Auckland. Amazing food cooked by our generous hosts, every day a delight.

STORY 2: “How She softens our love for one another…”
We are on our way to Hamilton in a bus full of laughter. I don’t remember spending any time without laughter really! We are all so happy, so joyful. We are one in the land of Shri Kartikeya. It feels like (I pull my ears) we are all humble and dynamic little children accompanying our Mother on a great Divine journey and just enjoying what She has organised for us.

We are enjoying every moment, every surprise that She has prepared for us: here is a blissful meditation, there some seekers getting their connection with gratitude; here a supreme dinner; there a joke from a cheeky brother that cracks everyone up;  here happily leafleting together; there divine music making seekers’ eyes close and their heart open. What a time ! What a life we are having as Shri Mataji’s Children!

Our New Zealand brothers and sisters have completely won my  heart: their simplicity …their loving humble care. In every gesture, you feel their love, in every small attention is their fragrance. Jai Jai Jai Shri Ma for bringing us together.

What is touching me the most in those tours is of course the joy of spreading Mother’s love, of course the joy of doing it in music but above all is how She is clearing our hearts and makes us feel so much for each other… How She softens lour love for one another to become brothers and sisters in a real sense. A sense that manifests through a supportive smile, a soft hug, a funny teasing, a gentle attention… a sense where we connect so much to one another that we don’t want to separate ever … From Her Divine body.

With love,
Caroline

STORY 3: “as if they have known the song all their lives.”
We are on our way to Hamilton. We are squashed happily into a bus with piles of luggage and  it’s an early sunny morning. Yesterday we had our first public programs. The programs before this were all school programs and extremely successful and joyful. The children all responded in such a surprisingly energetic and enthusiastic way and we are all feeling as though we should really focus more on doing programs for children. They are so open to receiving the joy and the vibrations. Our highlight so far was the program with 400 children, mostly Maori, Tongan, Polynesian… 400 children singing ‘Ude   Bai  Ude Bai’ with us as if they have known the song all their lives.

The program last night seemed to have brought some sincere seekers. To watch their expressions melt into peace during the music was enough to know that Shri Mataji is working through us and that is the whole purpose of being here. We hope that these seekers will take the time to deepen their experience with the local yogis. John spoke very sincerely to them, trying to make them understand the importance of the meditation. It seemed as though they were really touched by the music and and that they experienced a deep meditation.

We said farewell to Auckland this morning, and we have two more programs today…
