Story 1 – Day 4, Alishan mountain
Monday 23rd September, 2013

‘…generosity and warmth of the Taiwanese people’

Alishan mountainToday is Monday, we started the day at 4.30am by riding a steam train which climbed Alishan mountain to watch the sunrise.

The train climbed the mountain in darkness to a viewing platform where we all stood in hope and anticipation.

We were entertained by a national park spokesperson who was extremely entertaining, even though we couldn’t understand the language he held us spellbound with his animated delivery.

Unfortunately the sunrise was a no show. Heavy cloud and the softest rain obscured the view. All was not lost as we had the most beautiful walk singing as we went, some were seen to be hugging moss covered trees and posing for photos in beautiful lush green nature.

We arrived back in time for breakfast and our next journey to Hsinchu.

On route we were taken to the most beautiful Japanese restaurant owned by a Taiwanese Sahaja yogi. The food was exceptional and the restaurant is very famous in Taiwan. What a meal, every morsel was delicious cooked by our chef who is a realised soul.

The hospitality and generosity and warmth of the Taiwanese people especially our hosts has been wonderful.

We are seeing quite a bit of the countryside as we ride in our comfortable double decker bus on which we spend plenty of time being collective. What great fun we have together.

Soon we will be arriving at our next venue and setting up for this evening’s concert. I’m sure that it will be another fantastic evening singing in joy together with a new audience of seekers.

Jai Shri Mataji.

Story 2 – Day 3, Tea and Alishan Mountain
Sunday 22nd September, 2013

‘The sense of peace – Of everywhere in sight

We boarded the bus for Alishan Mountain
Reciting mantras to pave the way
Meditation and singing
Laughter n joy again

Rishi was put in the spot
With a polka dotted hat
He looked so sweet
With his fan in hand

We went to a specialty store
Tasting 3 types of Oolong tea,
We were warned of the affects
on an empty tummy
A couple of yogis did not hear so
They had Light headedness,
everything sounded funny

Everyday we had a buddy
To make sure we never lost anybody
Jean-Michel is our yogi shepherd
To herd up the sheep and make they don’t miss a beat

We drew names in a hat
Like a lucky dip
To select our room mates
At each hotel
Day by day

The hike up the mountain
Was like going up the Himalayas
Not knowing when we would reach
Our destination

A few tummy’s were rumbling
Going up into the clouds
So much lush n beauty
In the country side

Alishan Mountain
Is so glorious
The sense of peace
Of everywhere in sight

Over 2,000 ft altitude
Tested our breath

After a feast of local
Mountain food
Wild pork roasted on rocks,
Goose, deer, stream prawns,

The Yin Shan Hotel
Was beaming with vibrations
Yogis in the lobby using all the wifi
Reconnecting to the world
Sharing the love with emotion

We took over the fifth floor
4 to a room and a chance to bloom
We set up an altar in the hallway
blasting the house with bhajans

Was great to have our hosts join us in song
Adding there sweet Taiwanese voices along
Kundalini’s rising in harmony
It all seems like a dream to me

Mother,  we are so grateful for everyday
The mayas, the obstacles and tests all the way
For the Love, joy n laughter wash it all away

Mother, we always love you the most
Please teach us to be humble like our hosts
Let the love grow and fill our cup

Story 3 – Day 2, Taichung concert hall
Saturday 21 September, 2013

‘The music flowed …the crowd materialized’

At Taichung concert hall,
Posters of Shubada plastered everywhere
Inside, outside, oh what a joy
Brought flashbacks of yesteryear
Of who was here, and who is here

Greetings and hugs
From yogis and seekers
Who were here too
They remembered everyone
And asked about new faces

My response was
The beauty of MOJ is
Every tour we change to who is available
And remain with us in spirit

The concert was a blast
As we sang from our hearts
And captured the audience
With joyful clapping and dance

Whispers of uncertainty in the air
our next concert could be cancelled
As a typhoon is on its way
Pure desire in us all
We keeping marching on

Yet a the thought of rest sounds pretty cool

Return to the hotel for more yummy food
reflecting our evening,
We all received a portable footsoak bucket to carry away
Yay, our saviour, we will treasure for life

Early morning rise
Basement full of sweet sweet vibes
As we unite in meditation…

On the bus to Tainan we went
With Fits of laughter
Singing Tony we love you
In your Wingham hat

In the restaurant for lunch there was love in the air
Auspicious occasions as wedding bells ring

The forecast did not sound good
The city was closed,
As red alert…as typhoon Usagi was near

Eyebrows raised concerning Rishi’s flight
Perfect weather wherever we went
Like micra heaven in the skies above

A slight drizzle paved the way
A comfortable 28 degrees
To prevent any dramas
We moved our stage undercover
to keep the attention within

We came back later
To be amazed… the poster had grown
Giant sized
The setup was quick
all we needed was our tabla maestro

We just warmed up our voices
Rishi arrived at the perfect time
Like a typhoon blowing in the wind

The music flowed
The crowd materialized
And the kundalini blasted the skies

Once again everyone was on their feet
Dancing to the Nirguna Nirmala beat
Amazingly the audience multiplied
We finished the night with Haida

Enjoying the seekers
faces transform
Fills our hearts

Jai Shri Mataji!
