Korean Program update

Just a quick note to say the program went really well and vibrations were so powerful.

Only a small turnout of 30 which was about a third full as the venue capacity was around 100 seats. It was a very intimate theatre and the audience was very close to the musicians who were on a small stage.

We had no idea how the Korean people would accept Indian devotional music but they were very moved by the performance which was tremendous. The bajhans gradually worked their magic on opening their hearts and preparing them for realisation.

We had engaged the services of a professional translator and she had come the previous day and got her realisation. She also spent considerable time studying the material on the websites so she had a better understanding. With her kundalini already awakened she was responding to the beautiful flow of vibrations coming from the musicians. In the background we projected images of miracle photos, scenes form space and nature which complemented the music.

Mr. Chang who had been helping us so much for the programs gave an introduction in Korean to the musicians and welcomed them to Korea. After a number of bajhans we introduced the instruments to the audience as it was the first exposure to Indian music. This was followed by a brief introduction to Sahaja Yoga and then the realisation process. Everyone enjoyed the experience and many felt the cool breeze. We sat in silence for a good 5 minutes and then the musicians played Jogowa which really got the vibrations flowing. This was followed by a Qawwali and everyone clapped enthusiastically. At the end Mr. Chaing made an appeal to everyone there to tell their friends and family and to make an effort to come to the concert on Saturday.

The feedback after the program was very positive and some said they wanted to attend the followup programs. We are really hoping that there will be even more seekers coming to the concert today and appeal to everyone to give bandhans.
When I get the chance I will write a more detailed account and provide photos.

Much love,

Alex

  1. JSM! That’s great news. How many Yogis are helping the events? Do you have any photos to see in Korea? Will the yogis stay in Korea so the spreading continues?
Please keep up the good work in Korea.

Best wishes to establish a Sahaja Korea collective.
May Mother have attention in Korea
