SE Asia Self-Realisation Tour starts in Vietnam

Two Vietnam public programs: Saigon, Sat 30th June 30 and Hanoi, Sun 1st July, 2012.

‘Once the music started and the vibrations flowed you could see all of the faces of the audience light up with the joy of the spirit’

Dear Yogis,

Vietnam is a country of tradition and deep culture, her people are great sons and daughters of a great land. They are simple in the best possible meaning of the word, innocent, friendly, natural and open to the spirit. The political background has meant religious traditions are not encouraged, but the people are made for Sahaja Yoga.

At the Saigon program there were 900 seekers and 400 attended the Hanoi. Both programs significant achievements and bring great credit to the collective.

Once the music started and the vibrations flowed you could see all of the faces of the audience light up with the joy of the spirit, they were excited and totally in the mood of the night. Perhaps our experience with Western audiences who are more advanced and intellectual while they enjoy, they do not commit themselves in such a liberated connection to joy.

To be a part of such a Sahaj experience with hundreds of enthusiastic and collective seekers, with Sahaj music playing , self realisation, deep meditation, all overseen by Our Holy Mother is what we all dream of as Yogis, what we hope to be a part of, and the days we live for.

The collective of Vietnam are young, dynamic, naturally collective and at ease in each other’s company. They are always together, arms linked, laughing, singing, smiling, happy to be together. It is so reaffirming to know they have touched the depth of the spirit and Our Mothers love.

The average age of the Vietnamese collective is under 30 years old, and made up of young men and women alike. There is so much hope and optimism in the collective, it is somewhat infectious for those of us who have been in Sahaj in the west trying to attract seekers.

The programs were some of the best held, both Venues were beautiful of a five star level which just introduces Sahaja in venues reflective of grand protocols. Everyone stayed for their self realisation. When the time came for the Yogis to call the audience to rise to the dance, they were literally stampeded as everyone rushed forward to dance. Not just before the stage but many came and danced on stage all around the musicians, happy, joyous and together as one.

The seekers who attended were also largely young people, so the hopes are that many will come to establish themselves and become part of this great collective of growth and great hopes for the future.

Jai Shri Mataji!

Regards Chris (on behalf of the SEA Touring yogis)
